Health & Safety Manager

A brief description of the requirements for the role Health & Safety Manager:

 

•             Hold formal EHS qualifications and be a Grad IOSH member as a minimum

•             Excellent knowledge of the UK regulatory requirements for E H&S

•             Experience in writing effective EHS policies and procedures

•             Experience of Investigation and root cause analysis

•             Experience of driving continuous improvement

•             Experience in manufacturing and warehousing environment is desirable

•             Knowledge of EU directives and UK law with regard to Machinery Safety is desirable

•             Experienced EHS auditing, site inspections and hazard spotting

 

To be successful in this role you will need to be a strong communicator and influencer with the ability to build both trust and positive working relationships with all levels of staff

 

Flexibility and pragmatism are essential traits.

Production Warehouse Operative

Hours of work: Mon to Fri, 06:00 – 18:00, to begin with, changing to rotating shifts, 3 days, 3 nights, 3 off after training

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor

For this post you will receive the following benefits:

  • A starting salary of £7.83 p/h, 55hrs per week, rising to £8.20 p/h on completion of 3 month probationary period
  • Long service holiday awards after 2 full calendar years

The role

Working in the busy Production Warehouse the role requires a positive working attitude. The role will involve operating forklifts (training will be provided), picking and transferring raw materials for production, general warehouse duties and housekeeping, all whilst following the strict health and safety procedures of the company.

The role is a demanding job that requires standing or moving in all weather conditions but has great rewards for the right candidate.

The person

Experience of an industrial, warehousing or distribution environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate.

We require a good level of written and spoken English and a great work ethic due to the demanding nature of the job.

This post would suit someone who is a good team player with a flexible attitude, a basic understanding of health and safety and the willingness to learn and develop in an exciting industry.

Due to the location of our site your own transport will be required.


Sales Manager - UK

The ideal candidate will have Sales experience in Plastics/Metals distribution and be located in the Northants/Beds/Bucks area. 

Building on our already strong distributor relationships, you will be required to do joint visits/training with key individuals to further strengthen the relationships.  The primary purpose of the role will be to convert end users of Aluminium Composite Panels to using Multipanel UK products.

Summary of responsibilities:

  • Develop a full understanding of the customer base
  • Prepare and action business plans
  • Negotiate prices in conjunction with the Director of Sales
  • Share market intelligence and prevailing pricing feedback with the Director
  • Complete proposals for expenditure (exhibitions, customer support, marketing and promotional material) and travel plans
  • Manage projects through back selling and specifications within territory network
  • Manage and understand all customers’ complaints. Visit end user if complaint is substantial and communicate findings to DOS and distribution partner.
  • Be involved in distributors’ sales forecast. Feedback on stock trends / availability.
  •  Support distributor in hitting sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
  • Build stock and product proposals for new end-customers’ projects depending on availability, competition or application.

Account Manager (German speaking)

Based at our Manufacturing facility in Eythorne near Dover or at our Head Office in Exeter

40 hour week, Monday to Friday, 0830-1730, £22,000/annum + Bonuses 

Skills 

Native/near native level of German

Proven track record of business development or growth within a sales environment - Proven track record of excellent customer service - Ability to work autonomously and motivate yourself as part of a team. - Ability to set targets and forecasting - Ability to understand the environment of manufacturing, sales and distribution, and what is essentially required to support our customers - Ability to introduce new products and extol their values and to back sell to end users through our distribution partners - 

These duties are not an exhaustive list and may encompass any other reasonable duties as defined by a senior manager in line with the job role and environment where necessary to meet the needs of the business.

Summary of the post:

Key account management. To be the first point of contact to our customer base for all inbound queries and enquiries and to support all administrative functions of our customers. 

To support the strategy of the sales team to seek opportunities with current customers, new customers and large end users by proactively creating and following up all calls that lead to opportunities, appointments and quotations.
